It's a GO!
I got the word last night that the City of Gahanna will let me work out of the Ohio Herb Education Center on Mill Street in Gahanna. I will be on the second floor and my hours will be Mon - Wed evenings 4pm - 9pm and Saturdays 10am - 2pm. Everything seems to be "lining up" for my big debut! PRAISE THE LORD!

4 Miles!!!
I found a "back way" into the Sharon Woods Park - not far from my house (just across the bridge) there is a back way in!
I'm looking forward to walking in this park this Spring! I walked 4 miles tonight!! A month ago, I could NEVER have walked 4 miles in one day!!

9 Inches...
I'm so excited to tell you that in the last month I've lost 9 inches (5 of it in my waist and my hips!) I don't have a scale yet, so I'm not sure how much weight I've lost. I think that I've decided to join Weight Watchers so that I can have the accountability of some friends that are trying to reach the same goals as me!

Grandchildren!
Here are 3 of my 4 grandchildren. They truly ARE a precious "gift from God". I wish they didn't have to grow up so fast...

Find a NAME Contest!
I PASSED MY LICENSURE EXAM! Effective yesterday, 2.11.11, I AM NOW A LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST! I also went to look at a place in Gahanna where I might be able to have my business - the massage room is HUGE so I can even do couples' massage. The room has it's own private bathroom, it's in a GREAT location, easy to find, parking in the rear of the building AND the weekly rent is extremely affordable! Please pray that we can work out all the details (and quickly!) with the City of Gahanna. Now I think that I'm gonna have some kind of contest to try to come up with a name for my new business. Find the details on my website, http://www.teresagrace.com/

Still no news.....
It has been 8 weeks and 3 days now since I took the Ohio State Medical Board's Exam to become a Licensed Massage Therapist - and NO, I still don't know anything!! Seriously?? Why does it take so long to run a scantron answer sheet through a machine and get some results!

Browns....
I know MY friends are wondering RIGHT NOW why I have pictures of a Cleveland Browns Quilt on MY blog! I make NFL (teams) quilts and sell them and usually forget to take pictures of them! This one was made for a co-worker about a year ago.
(and just in case you are wondering -- NO, I'm not switching to the CLEVELAND BROWNS!)

Shells Afghan
This is the newest Pittsburgh Steeler (color) afghan that I made. It's VERY simple. Below are the instructions. No, the pattern is not mine, it comes from BERNAT yarn.
I used crochet hook size H
Chain 280 sts (you can make this shorter or longer, but your stitches must be in multiples of 7)
Row 1: 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 2 dc in next ch, *skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, repeat from * to last 4 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in last ch. TURN.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc in first sc, *skip 3 dc, 1 sc in first ch of ch-3, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 2 ch, 1 dc in next sc, repeat from * ending skip 2 dc, 1 sc in top of turning chain. TURN.
Repeat Row 2 until afghan is as large as you want it.
FASTEN OFF.
Border: For the border, I simply did sc stitches on both sides to make it look "pretty". I began and ended the afghan with black so that I only put a black border on each side. I did 3 sc in each turning chain, and 1 sc in the next "stitch" (alternating).

Will You Marry Me?
The 6 Super Bowl Trophies on display at Heinz Field on Family Day. The man ahead of us in the line to take this picture actually got down on his knee and proposed to his girlfriend in front of these trophies when it was their turn to take a picture! She was SO surprised! They must REALLY be STEELER fans! (Oh, and she did say YES!)

HERE WE GO STEELERS - HERE WE GO!
NOPE, I didn't personally take this picture - but it makes me feel so much better just to look at it. I'm so disappointed that I cannot go to Nashville this year for the Super Bowl. I have gone every year these last several years, but due to bad weather, I am not going to make it to the annual "Nashville STEELER Hater, Super Bowl shin dig!" Sorry guys - I know how much you will miss me... but try to have fun "hating" on the STEELERS without me being there to hassle the entire weekend! I love you guys!
