Hines Wins DWTS !!

Yaaaay Hines Ward and Kym Johnson!!!  What an awesome job on Dancing With the Stars!!  This was the first season that I watched every single show!  (I even have kept the recordings every week on DVR, so that I can now start watching the re-runs!!). 

I was so excited last night after they announced the winner, that I went to bed and dreamed that Hines and Kym came to my home after the show and had dinner with me and my family!!  How funny!! 

It Was A Great Party ...

Will You Marry Me?

The 6 Super Bowl Trophies on display at Heinz Field on Family Day.  The man ahead of us in the line to take this picture actually got down on his knee and proposed to his girlfriend in front of these trophies when it was their turn to take a picture!  She was SO surprised!  They must REALLY be STEELER fans!  (Oh, and she did say YES!)

HERE WE GO STEELERS - HERE WE GO!

NOPE, I didn't personally take this picture - but it makes me feel so much better just to look at it.  I'm so disappointed that I cannot go to Nashville this year for the Super Bowl.  I have gone every year these last several years, but due to bad weather, I am not going to make it to the annual "Nashville STEELER Hater, Super Bowl shin dig!"  Sorry guys - I know how much you will miss me... but try to have fun "hating" on the STEELERS without me being there to hassle the entire weekend!  I love you guys!

Decorating for the Super Bowl!

Today I decorated my living room window for the Super Bowl! 

I have the plastic plates, cups, napkins, and even the plasticware says STEELERS!

GO STEELERS!

I haven't kept up on this blog very well lately - what can I say - I've been sick!  But I was well enough to watch the Steelers win their divisional playoff game and now they are on their way to the SUPER BOWL - AGAIN!

Snow and Crochet

  

Yes, it's still snowing!  When it's this cold and snowing all the time, I don't get out much.  This is a Steeler afghan that I started this week (made up the pattern in my head) and it will be Steeler yellow and black (of course!) 

In fact, if I continue to work on it at work as well as at home, I think that I should be able to have it done in time for the Super Bowl!  GO STEELERS!     (to see the finished product, go HERE)
